Weekly Dev Update #16 Week of July 20 

 As July slowly comes to a wrap, we’re still working on Kaiju Fishing. What a weird year. It’s simultaneously flying by in a blur (it’s already the end of July!?) and also feels like an eternity has passed. This will be a shorter update, but we do have some little things to show off! THE SCOURGE OF THE DEEP The ocean in real life is a mysterious and dangerous place. The ocean in Kaiju Fishing is no different. Our artist, Sarah, specializes in creatures so naturally we’ve just about set her loose to create whatever she can imagine. This knife-like demon shark is the latest monster to slither it’s way into our waters: YOU’RE IN FOR A RIDE We’ve been messing with some new toys in order to escalate our fishing mechanics and here’s the result: There’s more work to be done in polishing our medium fishing but it’s a great proof of concept to start us off!
