Crafting AND an armada of manta rays?

This week at Mutant… we make video games. As usual!

Kaiju Fishing's identity is in fishing, so we wanted to elevate that with a crafting system that involved the world and gave player's new avenues to explore when casting out.

CRAFT THIS!
Crafting in Kaiju Fishing is focused on baits, so we went straight to the drawing board on what things we want to combine to make some fun foods and stuff for our fish. Here’s the basics!

As you explore and catch fish in Kaiju Fishing, you’ll be amassing four different resources. These can all be combined with each other! Here are some images to show off some different baits you might find…

Here's a preview of some of the items you'll find and craft!

These new baits will give you increased chances of luring the fish you want and hooking it successfully. You'll also be able to make treats for Skipper (your pet) to give him a boost of energy when helping you!

NEXT WEEK
The list of tropical fish is almost complete and we're adding a couple of flowing creatures to finish off the roster. Here's a sneak peak of what we'll be showing next week... stay tuned!
