Weekly Dev Update #47
Week of April 5, 2021

I’m tired. That’s not really relevant to the game but y’know, busy month.

Anyways, let’s get into it.

FINE TUNE THE “FEEL”

It’s a fairly common expression that the last 10% of a project can take 90% of the effort - or something to that effect - and that rings just as true in game development. We’re at a point where functionally the game is at a point where we’re pleased with it. I mean, we are getting dragged around by giant monstrous fish and exploring a world of our own creation. That’s a great accomplishment.


But. We aren’t done yet. The core mechanic and menus have that last few notches we can turn up so we’re deep in the process of identifying and polishing those final pieces. It’s exciting. Medium fishing (and the subsequent large fishing) will be finally making its way to our testers first and then the demo after.
