Weekly Dev Update #48
Week of April 19, 2021

Hey everyone, a day or two late on the update this week - busy things happening all around. Good things for sure, but keeping us on the move

next week and that’s been a lot of extra work. I’ll be switching to full-time remote but it should be a fun new adventure!) - Nick

For Kaiju Fishing, we’re still grindin’ away at getting that Medium Fishing update as polished as we can so we can get it into your hands ASAP. From what we’ve played with so far, it’s really coming together and should be an exciting escalation to get you warmed up for the big ones!

Here’s a quick reminder of how that’s gonna look!


Medium Fish aren’t your average lake-side catch, they’ll fight you all around the seas in epic chases! Hang on tight!!

HEY, JOIN OUR DISCORD!

Since we’re mostly polishing up stuff that we aren’t quite ready to show off today, I thought I’d take this opportunity to shout out our Discord - Mutant Entertainment Studios. Its *the* place to be. All the cool cats hang out there.

Our Discord features channels for all of our released games like I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gambling, Questr, and Astro Joust. We also have channels for Kaiju Fishing where you (yes, you!) can get involved in testing the Alpha (and seeing exclusive gameplay action before anyone else in the process!). We even have a fun Loot bot in our #Loot community channel where you can try to roll Legendary and Epic items from ICBING. Plus you can use Mutant Discord exclusive reaction emotes like the Mutant logo and a lil teaser character for the game. You’ll have to go see it there though!

We’ve been growing the Discord group and we’re so grateful and hyped for all the people who want to be involved in our productions. It really means a lot to us that people enjoy our games so, thank you. Whether you’re tracking down and reporting a bug in our older titles or just want to share in our love for giant monsters, everyone is more than welcome to come by and hang out!
