Weekly Dev Update #48

Week of May 3rd, 2021

Hey. I’m back. I’ve spent the last 2+ weeks doing the most hell-ish move I’ve ever participated in, but hey - it’s mostly over. I still have a few stray boxes to unpack, but all the heavy lifting and long-hours on the road are done. The new view is pretty nice too! That’s been the main reason you haven’t heard from me in a few weeks - I have been dog tired and extremely busy. Anyways, enough of that. Back to the game! - Nick

NEW SHOP WHO DIS?

Like my past month, our shopkeeper is also moving house. His wares needed to be a bit more portable so he’s hittin’ the seas. It’s nothing flashy, but it’s a friendly sight you’ll become accustomed to when you need to buy or sell items in Kaiju Fishing!


JUST… ONE MORE THING

We are closing in on Medium Fish being a complete feature which we are ready to showcase on our Discord for our Alpha testers. It just needed one more thing - a finishing move! Zach whipped up a quick prototype for us internally and we agreed to quickly move it up the priority chain. It adds a bit of flair, a good bit of skill, and a new use for a sweet tool we’ve had in our plans for a while. I'm excited about it and you should be too!
